About the Event
Fall Protection Awareness
The Fall Protection Awareness Course offered by Global Stage Techs (GST) is designed to provide foundational awareness and hazard recognition for personnel who do not work at height, but who operate in or around environments where fall hazards and overhead work are present.
This course focuses on situational awareness, hazard identification, and role clarity, ensuring participants understand how fall protection systems are used by authorized workers, what boundaries must be respected, and how to safely coexist in live event, staging, and rigging environments.
The course aligns with the intent of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 training requirements and references ANSI/ASSP Z359 terminology and PLASA/ETCP industry guidance for awareness-level education. This training is informational only and does not authorize work at height or the use of fall protection equipment.
